Sunset+Vine, the UK independent TV sports production and media company has been awarded the production and distribution contract for the 2021 Hempel World Cup Series, the Olympic Classes Global Tour, from World Sailing, the world governing body.
Under the terms of the contract, Sunset+Vine’s production team will deliver daily social and digital content, news material and an event highlights show. In addition, Sunset+Vine’s Media Partnerships team will provide international news and highlights distribution to the network of broadcaster, news desks and digital platforms.
During the Hempel World Cup series, all ten Olympic sailing classes race on an international circuit, with the first event - in a shortened 2021 calendar - taking place in Medemblik, Netherlands from June 2nd to 13th where eight of the ten Olympic classes will be racing. Further events will be announced in due course.
This will be the last major World Sailing event for Olympic sailors ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, in Enoshima.

In addition, Sunset+Vine produces the monthly grand prix sailing magazine series The World Sailing Show which is licenced to World Sailing as the official television series of the international federation.
