London, Wednesday 22nd July - Passion Distribution has secured international licenses for factual entertainment format MUMS MAKE PORN. This includes the commission from SAT.1 in Germany, for the local version of Firecracker Films’ much talked about format MUMS MAKE PORN, which is due to premiere tonight, Wednesday 22nd July 2020 at 8.15pm.The German version is produced by Redseven Entertainment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Red Arrow Studios.
MUMS MAKE PORN has also been licensed by Banijay Group and produced by its Nordisk Film TV for TV2 in Denmark. The Danish 4-part series premiered on 10th March 2020 at 8:50pm.
MUMS MAKE PORN is the thought-provoking programme which follows a group of ordinary mothers with teenage children, who are given the tools to write, direct and produce their very own porno film. Their mission, to create a film which not only works as pornography but one that sparks a debate and promotes healthy attitudes towards sex and relationships for the next generation.
MUMS MAKE PORN is a production of Firecracker Films, part of the Tinopolis Group, and was first picked up by Channel 4 and aired in 2019. Commissioned by Channel 4’s Clemency Green, Executive Produced by Emma Morgan (Creative Director of Factual) and Jes Wilkins (Chief Creative Officer), and Kate Farnaby (Series Producer).
The UK version of MUMS MAKE PORN (3 x 60’) has been licensed in over 12 territories including Australia (SBS), Germany (ProSiebenSat.1), Spain (DTS) and Sweden (TV4).
