Award-winning independent TV production company, Mentorn Media have been commissioned by Channel 5 to produce a fast-turnaround, one off, 60-minute documentary on Britain’s current travel crisis.
Thousands of people had flights cancelled and holidays ruined last month. But it’s not just the airline industry in crisis… the whole country has plunged into chaos. With national rail strikes, ferry cancellations, relentless roadworks and food and petrol prices skyrocketing, this summer is set to be complete and utter mayhem. How doomed are we? And what can we do to protect ourselves? Travel experts, including Simon Calderand Lisa Minot, are on hand with their travel tips and we hear from consumer rights lawyer Dean Dunham to find out what our rights are if the worst happens.
